Amity will be the fourth feature directed by Bay Area filmmaker Alejandro Adams.
Adams’ first feature, Around the Bay, appeared on several critics’ top ten lists at the end of 2008. His second feature, Canary, prompted Dennis Harvey of Variety to hail him as “an arresting talent.” Babnik, a Russian-language sex-trafficking thriller, is currently in post-production.
Adams continues to work with standard-definition cameras and non-union talent. He has his reasons.
